Email signup

With your explicit consent, we store your email address and a dated record of the exact consent text in Upstash Redis for one email when Still Awake opens. This signup does not send a confirmation email or verify ownership of an address. Please enter only your own email address.

This consent does not subscribe you to a recurring newsletter. We do not send your listening history, nighttime choices, private writing, or location to the email list.

Your choices and retention

You can ask us to remove your address using the contact below before the launch email is sent. The launch list is used only for the launch notification. We will remove it within 30 days after that note is sent; if launch is delayed, we will remove the unused list within 12 months of signup. Subscriber records expire automatically after 12 months. To limit automated submissions, we also store short-lived counters and a keyed hash of the connection address for up to 10 minutes; we do not store a raw IP address in this list.

Storage provider

Upstash stores the signup records. No email delivery service is connected to this form. We will identify the sending service here before sending the launch notification. See Upstash's privacy policy for its practices. Still Awake does not sell the launch list or use it for advertising profiles.

Visiting the site

There are no advertising pixels or embedded YouTube players on this page. The page does not save your email in browser storage. Our host, Vercel, may process ordinary technical request information, including IP address, browser, page, timing, and security signals, to deliver and protect the site.

YouTube and support resources are independent services with their own privacy practices. They load only if you follow a link. Please do not send health information or private personal writing through an email signup or support request.
